Turn Your Separate Hot & Cold Taps Into a Handheld Shower – No Plumber Required

The H20LOW Hot & Cold Tap to Shower Conversion Kit gives you everything you need to turn compatible separate hot and cold taps into a practical handheld shower — without replacing your taps or making permanent plumbing changes.

The pack uses two H20LOW Quick Fit Tap Aerator & Hose Connectors, one fitted to your hot tap and one to your cold tap. The specially designed Y-shaped shower hose connects to both Quick Fits, allowing you to mix the hot and cold water using your taps as normal.

Once the Quick Fits are installed, they remain discreetly fitted to your taps. Simply connect the shower hose whenever you need it and remove it again in seconds when you’re finished.

Ideal for homes without a fitted shower, older bathrooms with separate taps, hair washing, bathing children, pet washing, renters, housing association homes, caravans, holiday homes, boats, yachts and general rinsing.

✓ Will It Fit My Taps?

Both your hot and cold taps need to have a removable threaded aerator.

Each Quick Fit is supplied with adaptors for the most common threaded tap fittings:

M28 male adaptor – pre-fitted
M24 male adaptor - product itself with no additional adaptors
M22 female adaptor - 22mm Female round collar adaptor

A male adaptor has the thread on the outside and screws into a female-threaded tap spout.

A female adaptor has the thread on the inside and screws over a male-threaded tap outlet.

The M28 male adaptor comes pre-fitted to each Quick Fit, so if your taps use this size they can be fitted straight away. The alternative adaptors are included for other compatible threaded tap sizes.

Keep hold of all the supplied adaptors — they may be useful if you ever want to move the Quick Fits to different taps in your home or take the system with you if you move house.

3-Spray Continuous-Flow Shower Head

A comfortable handheld shower head with three different spray settings. Water flows continuously while your taps are running.

On/Off Trigger Shower Head

Control the water flow directly from the shower head using the trigger — particularly useful for hair washing, bathing children, pet washing and targeted rinsing.

⚠ Important – On/Off Trigger Shower Head

The On/Off Trigger Shower Head is not suitable for use with electric or pumped showers.

The trigger controls the water flow only and does not thermostatically control or regulate the water temperature. With separate hot and cold taps, the water temperature may fluctuate while the trigger is closed.

Always check the water temperature each time you press the trigger to restart the flow before directing the water onto yourself, a child or a pet.

Always remember to turn both taps off fully after use.

✓ Simple to Fit

Step 1 – Remove the existing aerator from each tap.

We now include a handy Tap Aerator Key with every pack to help make removal and fitting easier — so in many cases there’s no need to hunt around for an adjustable spanner.

Step 2 – Select the correct Quick Fit adaptor for each tap if required.

The M28 male adaptor comes pre-fitted. Alternative M24 male and M22 female adaptors are also supplied for compatible tap sizes.

Step 3 – Screw one Quick Fit into the hot tap and one into the cold tap by hand until secure.

Step 4 – Do not overtighten.

The internal rubber washers provide the seal, so hand-tight is all that should normally be required. Occasionally on older taps, some PTFE tape may also be required before fitting - this is easy to use - simply wrap around the threading (it's like stretchy plaster) before fitting (available to add on website).

Step 5 – Connect each side of the Y-shaped shower hose to the two Quick Fits and attach your chosen shower head.

Step 6 – Turn on your hot and cold taps and adjust the water temperature to a comfortable level before use.

Once installed, the Quick Fits stay discreetly in place. Disconnect the Y-hose and both taps can continue to be used normally as aerated taps.
