Turn Your Separate Hot & Cold Taps Into a Handheld Shower – No Plumber Required

The H20LOW Hot & Cold Tap-to-Shower Pack gives you everything you need to turn compatible separate hot and cold taps into a practical handheld shower — without replacing your taps or making permanent plumbing changes.

The pack uses two H20LOW Quick Fit Tap-to-Shower Connectors, one fitted to your hot tap and one to your cold tap. The specially designed Y-shaped shower hose connects to both Quick Fits, allowing you to mix the hot and cold water using your taps as normal.

Once the Quick Fits are installed, they remain discreetly fitted to your taps. Simply connect the shower hose whenever you need it and remove it again in seconds when you’re finished.

Ideal for homes without a fitted shower, older bathrooms with separate taps, hair washing, bathing children, pet washing, renters, housing association homes, caravans, holiday homes, boats, yachts and general rinsing.

✓ Will It Fit My Taps?

Both your hot and cold taps need to have a removable threaded aerator.

Each Quick Fit is supplied with adaptors for the most common threaded tap fittings:

M28 male adaptor – pre-fitted
M24 male fitting – built into the Quick Fit, with no additional adaptor required
M22 female adaptor – 22mm female threaded collar

A male adaptor has the thread on the outside and screws into a female-threaded tap spout.

A female adaptor has the thread on the inside and screws over a male-threaded tap outlet.

The M28 male adaptor comes pre-fitted to each Quick Fit, so if your taps use this size they can be fitted straight away. The alternative adaptors are included for other compatible threaded tap sizes.

Keep hold of all the supplied adaptors — they may be useful if you ever want to move the Quick Fits to different taps in your home or take the system with you if you move house.

Important safety information — On/Off Trigger Shower Head

This safety notice applies only if the On/Off Trigger Shower Head is selected.

Do not use with electric showers.

For pumped shower systems, use only where the pump is specifically designed to switch off automatically whenever water flow is stopped at the handset, even briefly. The pump must not continue running against a closed handset, even for a short period. If you cannot confirm that the pump automatically stops as soon as the trigger closes the water flow, do not use this shower head with that system.

The trigger controls water flow only. It does not control or regulate water temperature. With separate hot and cold taps, water temperature may change while the flow is stopped, so always check the temperature before directing the water onto yourself, a child or a pet.

The trigger is intended only for temporary flow control while the shower head is in use. Do not leave the taps running with the trigger closed for longer than necessary. Always turn both taps off fully after use.

Compatibility depends on the complete tap, shower, pump and plumbing arrangement. If you are unsure whether your system is suitable, do not use the trigger shower head until compatibility has been confirmed.

✓ Simple to Fit

Step 1 – Remove the existing aerator from each tap.

We now include a handy Tap Aerator Key with every pack to help make removal and fitting easier — so in many cases there’s no need to hunt around for an adjustable spanner.

Step 2 – Select the correct Quick Fit adaptor for each tap if required.

The M28 male adaptor comes pre-fitted. Alternative M24 male and M22 female adaptors are also supplied for compatible tap sizes.

Step 3 – Screw one Quick Fit into the hot tap and one into the cold tap by hand until secure.

Step 4 – Do not overtighten.

The internal rubber washers provide the seal, so hand-tight is all that should normally be required. If you experience a leak after fitting, stop use and check that the correct adaptor and sealing washer are fitted correctly. Do not overtighten.

Step 5 – Connect each side of the Y-shaped shower hose to the two Quick Fits and attach your chosen shower head.

Step 6 – Turn on your hot and cold taps and adjust the water temperature to a comfortable level before use.

Once installed, the Quick Fits stay discreetly in place. Disconnect the Y-hose and both taps can continue to be used normally as aerated taps.
